The Holy Spirit Fund

Dear Friends,
For 13 years, the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist have been providing a first rate education that is joyfully and enthusiastically Catholic at the Spiritus Sanctus Academies. We are delighted with our students’ academic successes, but are overjoyed to see our students grow in their love for God and His Holy Church.

For the 2010-2011 academic year both school sites experienced an increase of enrollment and we are currently educating over 390 students in the greater Ann Arbor region. We are proud of our alumni; among their achievements are appointments to West Point, recipient of the Father Michael Scanlon Scholarship, salutatorians of Catholic high schools, discerning vocations to the priesthood and religious life, involvement in missionary activity and pro-life work. Even members of our faculty and staff have entered the seminary or religious life. Indeed, this is the fruit of the SSA family gathering each day for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and opening our hearts to God who brings forth these good works.

As you may know the schools are privately owned by the Dominican Sisters of Mary and are not subsidized by the Diocese of Lansing or any Parish. In order to maintain the sound financial foundation of the schools, the Spiritus Sanctus Academy Board has established the Holy Spirit Fund. Donations to this fund are tax-deductible, and all funds are designated for use in the schools.

We are reaching out to you, our alumni, families, and friends to ask you to support Catholic education by donating to the Holy Spirit Fund. Your tax-deductible donation will make a difference in the lives of our students, their families and the community.
