Dear Friends,
One of the goals of the Spiritus Sanctus Academies is to make Catholic education affordable and accessible, especially in this struggling Michigan economy. For this reason, the sisters decided to freeze tuition for the 2009-2010 school year at a time when many other schools were raising theirs. In addition, the Sisters have offered many families scholarships to enable them to continue enrollment.

Since the schools are privately owned by the Dominican Sisters of Mary, they are not subsidized by the Diocese of Lansing or any Parish. In order to finance the difference between the actual cost of educating students and what is charged for tuition, and to be able
to offer additional scholarships, the Spiritus Sanctus Academy Board has established the Holy Spirit Fund. Donations to this fund are tax-deductible, and all funds are designated for use
in the schools.

We are reaching out to you, our alumni, families, and friends to ask you to support Catholic education by donating to the Holy Spirit Fund. Your tax-deductible donation will make a difference in the lives of our students, their families and the community.
